Both of these courses were inspiring. They gave me insight into the way I do programming today, and how I really should be doing it. My current programming project suddenly got a big fat TODO item on top called "rewrite".
One of the modules I really wanted to use is Method::Signatures. It was one of the topics in the "API Design" course. It was, however, unfortunately not packaged in Debian.
What to do? I like my modules packaged properly.
Simple. Join the Debian Perl Group, and package the missing module, along with its missing dependencies.
This is the module I wanted. It has a few dependencies, some of which were not packaged.
Wonderfully named. Even the description is delightfully obscure for the uninitiated.
They are now uploaded, and waiting in the NEW queue. They should be available in "unstable" as soon as they pass that gauntlet.
